Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Lowke is a civil engineer and expert in building materials and digital construction. In 2016 he was a research scholar at the University of California Berkeley, USA, doing research on 3D printing with cement-based materials. From 2017 to 2023 he was a Full Professor at the Department of Building Materials at Technische Universität Braunschweig. Since October 2023, he has been a Full Professor at the Department of Materials Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. He is co-chair of the RILEM Technical Committee Performance requirements and testing of fresh printable cement-based materials.
